Working in industries from public utilities to public health to insurance, Paulana loves to share her stories of the many sides and facets of engineering. Also a mother of two, she understands the importance of work-life balance, guarding her time and energy, and preserving her dignity as a woman of color in engineering.Her story is an inspiration to anyone who has any kind of doubts, fears, or qualms about entering the world of technology - if she can do it, you can do it too.Today, Paulana works on suggestion and recommendation scenarios for Microsoft Copilot using Generative AI technologies. She works closely with data scientists and engineers around the world to build industry leading modeling techniques to provide the most relevant feedback experience to enterprise end users. She is also the Co-Lead of the Career Development Committee for Blacks at Microsoft Atlanta. Her tireless work in her field and in her community is fueled by her passion for the intersection of people, purpose, and technology.
